Going to London for the first time can get very confusing. If you have no idea how to get around, then you better do something about it. Finding your way around the area within your stay can suck all the fun out of the vacation you might be having. With this, make sure that you understand London Public Transport well and good.

There are six airports in London, because a lot of flights come in and out of the city. Not only is it a major tourist destination, it is also serves as a portal to a lot of other cities near the city. These airports are Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Airport, Stansted Airport, Luton Airport, and London City Airport. The sixth one, London Southend Airport, is on its way to being completed.

There are twelve main line terminals served by the National Rail. Make sure to take the international high speed rail route and drop off at one of these 12 main terminals if where you are going is near these areas. These main terminals are Paddington, Marylebone, Euston, St Pancras Internaional, King’s Cross, Moorgate, Liverpool Street, Fenchurch Street, London Bridge, Blackfairs, Waterloo, and Victoria.

In London, there is such a thing as the Tfl, or the Transport for London. This is an organization responsible for public transportation in London. They enabled the Oyster, the single ticketing system that will allow you to have only one ticket to use in all private transportation operators. This means that you only have to worry about paying the fair, not about getting them.
